We value your time and the time of every client at Primera Therapy. Please take a moment to review our clinic policies before your appointment. These guidelines help us provide the best possible care for everyone we serve in Maple Ridge.
Policy 01
Cancellation Policy
We value your appointment at Primera Therapy and trust that you do too. Our clinic requires a minimum of 24 hours’ notice for any appointment cancellation or rescheduling. A penalty fee of $50 will apply to any no-show, last-minute, or late cancellation. This policy is a courtesy to both clients waiting for appointments and to our therapists.
$50 Late Cancellation / No-Show Fee
This fee cannot be billed to ICBC or your extended health insurance provider, as they do not cover late cancellation or no-show fees.
The cancellation fee may be waived in the following circumstances:
Medical Emergency or Accident
A medical emergency or accident requiring urgent professional treatment.
Absolute Family Emergency
An unexpected and serious family emergency that requires your immediate attention.
Natural Disaster or Severe Weather
A natural disaster or weather-related circumstance beyond your control, such as heavy snowfall or extreme conditions.
Policy 02
Late Arrival Policy
We understand that unforeseen circumstances can cause delays. If you are running late for your appointment at our Maple Ridge clinic, please call us as soon as possible so we can do our best to accommodate you.
Your Reserved Time Cannot Be Extended
Appointment times are reserved exclusively for each client. We cannot extend your session beyond the reserved time without making the next client late. Arriving late may result in a shortened treatment session.
Full Service Fee Applies
Full service fees will be charged even when sessions are shortened due to late arrival. Please plan to arrive on time to receive your full treatment.
Session May Be Cancelled for Extreme Lateness
If, upon discussion with your treating therapist, the scheduled treatment cannot be conducted due to the degree of lateness, the full session price will still be charged. Please call us at (604) 479-6677 if you are running significantly late.
